We sat down with some of the first creators to join the platform to talk about their music, their hustle, and what they're building.
Soundtura launched quietly. No big press campaign, no paid promotion — just an open door for musicians who wanted a better way to present their work online.
The first musicians to join came from everywhere: producers in Barcelona, DJs in Milan, singer-songwriters in London, beatmakers in Madrid. What they had in common was a frustration with the existing options and a willingness to try something new.
We asked some of them to share what they're building and why they joined.
*Producer, Barcelona*
"I've been making beats for six years. I had tracks on SoundCloud, an Instagram page, a Linktree — but nothing that actually felt professional. When someone asked for my portfolio I was embarrassed to send them a link. Soundtura felt different. It's clean, it's focused, and it actually looks like something I'd want to send to a label or a sync agency."
*DJ / Producer, Milan*
"Writing a short bio for my Soundtura profile was harder than I expected. I kept writing these long paragraphs about my influences and my journey. But the format forces you to be specific — and that made me realize I'd never really defined my sound clearly to myself. That clarity has actually helped me outside the platform too."
*Singer / Songwriter, London*
"I've tried every platform. SoundCloud, Bandcamp, generic portfolio builders. The thing I like about Soundtura is that it's built for musicians specifically. You're not fighting with photographers and graphic designers for attention. The features make sense for music. The profile structure makes sense for music. It feels like it was made for people like me."
These are early days for Soundtura. But the musicians who are here from the beginning are building something real — and we're building the platform around them.
If you're not on Soundtura yet, your profile is waiting.
